  1.  A large number of loyal readers and new readers every day do not arise in one day
  2. Write about one specific topic. A blog with a specific topic ranks higher in Google when people search for that topic. Also create categories. Category pages score high in Google.
  3. Get a good, catchy title that invites you to read, with good words in it that people are looking for
  4. Ensure good content: Short, well-written articles (500 words max) with unique and useful content
  5. Write often and with a certain regularity
  6. Link to other blogs, websites and related articles on your weblog. The more (unique) links on your blog, the nicer Google you find
