If you get a different phone number, or you switch to another provider, for example; then you don't have to give everyone your new number via WhatsApp. At settings> account> change number, you can change your telephone number. This keeps your chat history and your contacts immediately see the new number with your profile, but it is useful if you also give them the new number. This way you prevent them from catching you with a text message or telephone for example. Your WhatsApp account, the groups, and your profile will also be transferred to your new phone number without your noticing. To activate the new number you have to put your new SIM card with the new number on your phone.

If you are a fanatic WhatsApp user, you will probably often receive photos from friends. The photos are stored in the phone memory of your smartphone. As a result, the sent and received photos are also displayed in your phone's photo gallery app. If you no longer want this and do not want to save every photo, you can switch it off with a detour. Make sure you have a file manager (as we mentioned in tip 15) and go to the WhatsApp / Media / WhatsApp Images/folder.
